As you know, this past February, Stage 32 partnered with Netflix to present a global online television workshop taught by Netflix's own Chris Mack. To date, the workshop has been viewed by over 100,000 people worldwide, making it the most successful online entertainment industry workshop in history.
Now we're taking things to the next level. I'm proud to announce that we have once again partnered with Netflix on an even bigger initiative which will run through the end of 2022 - The Creating Content for the Global Marketplace program.
In conjunction with Netflix, we will be presenting a series of 5 free webcasts designed to teach writers, filmmakers, producers, development executives, managers, agents and other industry creatives and professionals across the globe on how to create, develop and produce content for Netflix.
As you know, Netflix is the leader in original streaming content and their move into finding and developing local language content around the world is unprecedented. In recognizing Stage 32 as the leader in online entertainment education, they are entrusting us to bring this exclusive and free education offering to the masses.
We look forward to assisting their initiative to educate film and television creatives and professionals across the globe with the ultimate goal of helping them discover new talent and material at scale. Our educators are ready to bring this unique and fortuitous program to Stage 32 and Netfilx’s global creator community.
My thanks to Chris Mack and the entire Netflix team for working tirelessly with us to make this happen and for what has already been a remarkable and rewarding partnership.
We ask that you tap into your collaborative spirit and spread the word. Remember, a rising tide lifts all boats and we're all in this together.
Cheers.

NETFLIX AND STAGE 32 INTRODUCE A NEW INITIATIVE TO HELP ASPIRING SERIES AND FILMMAKERS CREATE ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE GLOBAL MARKETPLACE
Earlier this year, our two organizations teamed up for a workshop on Television Pitching that was attended by 100,000 aspiring creators in over 160 countries. We knew it would be a natural fit, but it was amazing to see the global impact of the workshop.
That’s why we’ve decided to once again partner on the Creating Content for the Global Marketplace program. This program will give future creators access to industry experts who can share their knowledge, and talk through best practices that are being standardised as the volume of series and films being made around the world continues to grow.
Through this series of educational virtual workshops, creatives from around the world will learn how to turn their ideas into compelling structured series.
Over the course of the five-part series, each participant will learn how to format a television pilot, create a series budget, in addition to sessions designed to break down the pilot and budget process for different scripted genres including drama, sci-fi and comedy.
